An Update on How I am Doing With My Steps to Lose Weight
I mentioned the 5 Things I am Doing to Lose My Weight. It’s been a week, so I thought I would give an update on how things are going.
1.) Eat Breakfast. I have this one nailed down pat. I have been religiously eating my breakfast (which right now is cereal) before 9 am every morning.
2.) Drink Water While Dieting. Some days I do good with this, other days I don’t do so well. It’s definitely an area to keep working to make a habit.
3.) Enjoy the Foods I Eat. I have miserably failed here. With my job, I have an hour of break time available to me. I choose to get up every hour for a few minutes than to take a larger break where I can slowly eat my lunch. I should change that, but I really do not like staring at a computer screen for more than an hour straight. I have to figure out something here.
4.) Track and Control The Foods/Calories That I Eat. I’ve been a good girl here. With Fitday.com, it’s pretty easy to enter things in. Sometimes I forget about something I ate until the next day but so far I believe I have entered everything I’ve eaten (even a little bite of brownie) since I started using it.
5.) Exercise. I rock this on the weekends. I don’t work and we go out and go hiking. During the week, I have been a big slacker. I am so tired when I get off work. I play with my son for a while, then veg out and watch TV and write a little bit and go to bed. I do have some time from when my son gets on the bus and I start work so I may exercise there. I have to pump myself up to do that.
Overal, for a week of trying to overhaul my life, I didn’t do too bad. But I can do better and I will do better.

I think I found your website just in time. I went to the dr. the other day for strep and found out (as if I couldn’t have possibly know) I weigh… da da da. …..246 LBS!!!! So I have been dancing for an hour a day for 4 days now. I would love to keep in contact with you - maybe do a buddy thing. Is there a way we can chat?
