Weekly Weight Loss Progress - Gained 0.5 Pounds
After how I overate while traveling, I thought for sure I was in for it when I stepped on the scale this morning. To my delight, I only gained 0.5 pounds. That small amount can be due to a number of things.
That brings my total weight loss tally to 29 pounds. I am so close to the 30 pound mark. Maybe I needed another week at below the 30 pound mark to stir up some more determination to keep at this journey. Once I hit the 33 pound mark, that means that I will have lost a third of the weight I would like to lose.
That boggles my mind when I think of it that way.
A little while ago, NPR mentioned Blogging Away Debt. Right near the end, they basically said that once the debt is paid off, there is always Blogging Away Fat. At the time, I thought I would have lost the weight way before our debt was paid off.
After the struggles I am experiencing here, I’m starting to think that the NPR woman was right. I’m starting to wonder now which one will happen first…paying off our credit card debt or meeting my weight loss goal.
I guess as long as both happen, I’m fine with that ![]()

My bet is on the weight, but either way I think you should turn it into a competition!
Why not set up a 50/50 bet with your readers? Half the money raised goes towards the debt, half to a random reader that chooses which goal is reached first…
Then you’d be motivated to pay off as soon as possible!
