Weekly Weight Loss Progress: Gained 1.5 Pounds
I weighed myself on Monday morning, so please excuse the delay in my updating it on here. I’ve been going through the emotions of losing a friend and it affects your whole life.
I had to fight the urge to want to spend a lot of money, but as for eating…I didn’t have to worry about that too much. Most of the weekend I felt sick to my stomach so I didn’t eat too much overall.
I haven’t given up yet on this blog and trying to lose weight. Life likes to throw some curveballs every now and then. It would be great if life could stay in a happy state the whole time I’m trying to lose debt and weight, but that’s not realistic. I just have to get through the harder times and keep on going.

You’ve just taken a stomach punch … go easy on yourself. Keep doing your best to stay your course. If you falter it’s okay.
I find the easiest way to stay on track in the midst of a crisis is to break things down into even smaller baby steps than usual. If what is normal seems too overwhelming, break things down a bit smaller.
For instance, no time/motivation/opportunity for walking a set amount? Opt instead to march in place each time a commercial comes on t.v. (if that’s too much march during just the first commercial).
Breathe, relax, and enjoy your family this weekend.

Yep. You have to forgive the little ups and downs when you are on a journey that’s about the long haul. I’m sure things will get back on track.
