Weekly Weight Loss Progress - ??

Yet another week has passed and another week where I neglected to step on the scale in the morning. I woke up with my son around 8 a.m., but then I went back to sleep for a little bit since my husband was up as well. I’ve been feeling really tired lately, and that is no doubt due to us not getting to sleep before 11 p.m. at night.

We were doing so well, too. Darn TV and the new season of shows starting!

I joke about blaming them, though. It’s really all my fault that I am choosing to watch them. We have a VCR, so we could be taping them. Or, I could quit watching them.

In any case, I need to get my act together and revitalize how I felt when I first started this journey. I’m losing a bit of steam.

A regular sleep schedule is important, and the television certainly doesn’t help to keep it regular. That probably contributes to why we don’t pay for tv, and settle for the two channels that we can get over the air. Not wanting to deal with the static also makes it easier to avoid watching tv.

I often feel like I’ve hit a speed bump as the season changes from summer to fall.

You’re right, new tv line-up doesn’t help sticking to a good nightly routine.

I l-o-v-e unwinding after a long day with a bit of tv. What I’ve noticed, though, is all those characters I’m watching rarely, if ever, watch tv themselves.

I have an issue with the TV too. I finally decided to pick two shows and call them my favorite shows and only watch them.

Another issue I have is that the TV is in our bedroom. I don’t like it there, but my spouse does.

Just found you. I too have the same problems and after losing 18 pounds, I am where you started from!

I don’t know how your cable works, but a few months after I cancel cable in the spring (usually after the Stanley Cup has been won) they send me a note saying that they’ll hook it up for free, give me a free month, and for 6 months I get a cut rate. This isn’t too bad, since I get some hockey, som American Idol, some Canadian Idol and some CSI. For the rest of the time I watch movies I get free at the library! They even have exercise dvds.

Keep up your challenges. You can do it!

My problem is I weigh myself too much. I haven’t had a problem lately, but if I gain weight in a day, or don’t lose enough, I get discouraged.
