“You’re Not Fat, You’re Wonderful”
Today I received my free Radio Station T-Shirt from doing an interview a little while ago for Blogging Away Debt. I pulled the T-Shirt out of the package and my eyes bulged out of my head. That little thing is an extra large? It looked more like a small to me! My husband was equally amazed.
For giggles, I went in the bathroom and tried it on. Maybe, I thought, it could be something to look forward to wearing once I lose weight. I wrestled the shirt on and then proclaimed, “This shirt makes me look even more fat!”
I had no idea, but my son was standing outside of the bathroom. I hear his little voice reply, “You’re not fat, you’re wonderful.”
Talk about a want to break down and cry moment. My little boy (he’s 5) made my day right there. I gave him a big kiss after that one ![]()

What a fantastic story. I’m with you on this journey toward healthy.
Isn’t it an amazing feeling when our kids, by what they say and do, remind us that they really are learning the things that we hope they know are true?

That is sooooooo SWEET!
